Update: 15 April 2009
We had both old and new members at March's meet! Unfortunately, one of our new members didn't get to meet up with us, even though we were all at the range at the same time! For the next meet, we'll have a colorful sheet of posterboard to use as a target backer, and it will double as an easy identifier when we gather in the parking lot before entering the range. The official forum thread for the April meet is up! Let us know if you plan on coming!

February's meet was small but fun! The 26 March meet is being planned right now! Come visit the official forum thread for the March meet to let us know whether or not you plan to attend. We should have a couple of new members at this one.

We have a poll running on the forums to determine whether our future meetu should take place at 6:00PM or 7:00PM. Come and let your voice be heard!

Our January meet was a success! We had one new member in attendance, and several others have expressed a desire to come to February's meet. The 26 February meet is on the calendar, and there will be an official forum thread for it soon!

Happy New Year! Our first meet for 2009 is scheduled for 29 January. You can check out the forum thread and the calendar for more information! We have several newcomers who found us after reading the 12/19 SOVO article about us. Let's hope the growth continues!

The SOVO article about the Atlanta Pink Pistols
is out both in print and online! This is a great way for us to close
out 2008. As we roll into 2009, we hope to work with the AGLCC and GayAtlantaOnline.com to further increase our exposure to the community!
Our December meetup was another success! Four people who had never been to a Pink Pistols meeting joined us at the range. One of them had never handled a firearm before, but by the end of the night, he was comfortable with a variety of handguns and rifles. He turned out to be a great shot, too!

On 15 December, several members met with a Southern Voice editor for a photo shoot and interviews. The Atlanta Pink Pistols will be featured in an article in SOVO's 12/19 issue!
